What I work on
Most jobs are same-week. If it turns out I'm not the right person for it, I'll tell you that instead of charging you to find out.
It won't turn on
No power, no display, blue screens, random restarts, overheating. I find the failing part instead of guessing at it.
It's slow
Cleanup, SSD upgrades, memory, fresh Windows installs, thermal paste and dust-out. Old machines usually have a few years left.
Something got in
Virus and malware removal, browser hijacks, scam popups, and a straight answer about whether your accounts need changing.
Custom builds
Gaming, workstation, or streaming. I help pick parts for your actual budget, build it, install everything, and stress test before handoff.
Wi-Fi that drops
Dead spots, mesh and access point placement, router replacement, wired runs. Most "bad internet" is a bad layout, not a bad plan.

What it costs
Published, because you shouldn't have to call to find out whether you can afford it. Anything bigger gets a written quote before work starts, and I don't go past it without asking you first.

Parts are billed separately with tax itemized. Travel is free within 15 miles of Waco, then $0.75 a mile. After-hours and weekend emergency work is time and a half. Labor is warrantied 30 days. No travel charge for drop-offs. Home Care members skip the diagnostic fee and get 15% off labor.

One monthly price covers your computers and your home network. Problems get caught early, you skip the line when something breaks, and every repair costs less.

Month to month, cancel anytime. Your yearly visit unlocks after three paid months. Extra computers are $3 a month each. Plus manages networks on equipment I install or approve, so if you're on your internet provider's router, I can set you up with something better. Every custom build comes with three months of Plus.

Calling someone after the server is already down is the expensive way to run IT. A monthly plan means the patching, monitoring, and backups are handled before they turn into a closed day. Run a bar, restaurant, shop, or gym? I look after the POS, card readers, printers, and cash drawers too.

Plans cover a set number of machines and come with a written service level agreement, so the response times are a commitment and not a sales line. One-time onboarding fee of $500 covers documenting your setup.

You buy your domain in your own name, usually $10 to $15 a year, so it's always yours. Sites run on Cloudflare's free hosting, so there's no hosting bill either way. Without Website Care, changes are billed at the $65/hr remote rate. Logos, professional photography, and online stores aren't included.
Who you're calling
Baysic Tech Solutions is a one-person shop in Waco, which means the person who answers the phone is the person who does the work and the person who has to make it right.
I run my own infrastructure at home — firewalled and segmented network, a storage server, and game servers with real players on them who notice immediately when something breaks. Everything I'd set up for your business is something I already run and maintain myself.
The name is a promise about how I explain things, not about the depth of the work. You'll get told what failed, what it costs, and what your options are, without being talked down to and without being sold something you didn't need.
Where I go
Free travel within 15 miles of Waco. Farther out is fine, just adds mileage. No travel charge for drop-offs.
Do I have to bring it to you?
No, but you can. Most jobs I do on-site at your home or office. If it's easier, I can pick it up and bring it back when it's done, or you can drop it off by appointment. Anything that needs bench time goes to my shop either way.
What if you can't fix it?
You pay the $50 diagnostic and nothing else. I'll tell you what's wrong, what a repair would realistically cost, and whether replacing it is the better call — even when that means I don't get the job.
Will I lose my files?
Back up before any repair, always. I'll tell you honestly what the risk is for your specific situation, and I can do the backup for you as a separate service before I start. Every job comes with a written agreement covering this.
What do I do with my old computer?
Give it to me. I take computers, laptops, parts, networking gear, flat-panel monitors, phones, and tablets at no charge. Hand them over during any visit, drop them off by appointment, or if it's a few items within 15 miles of Waco, I'll pick them up.
Before anything is reused or recycled, its storage is securely wiped, or the drive is physically destroyed if you'd rather. Your choice. Once you hand equipment over, it's mine to reuse, refurbish, or recycle, so take off anything you want to keep first, or have me move your files to your new machine (data transfer, $100). Whatever can't be reused goes to an electronics recycler, never the landfill. I can't take tube (CRT) TVs or monitors.
Do you work on Macs?
Software, setup, migration, and networking, yes. Component-level Mac board repair, no — I'll point you to someone who does that instead of experimenting on your machine.
How fast can you get here?
Usually same week, often sooner. Businesses on a monthly plan get guaranteed response times in writing.
What do you take for payment?
Card, cash, or transfer, due when the work is done. Business accounts get invoiced on 15-day terms.
