IT that's handled before it breaks.
For Waco businesses with a handful of people and no IT department. Monitoring, patching, tested backups, and a network that's actually secured — one monthly price, one person to call, and response times written into the contract.
One call for everything behind the counter
If you ring up sales at a counter, your business runs on gear from half a dozen companies: the POS, card readers, receipt and kitchen printers, cash drawers, Wi-Fi, cameras, and the office computer. When something quits, each vendor blames the next one. I'm one point of contact for all of it.
POS stations and card readers
Set up, moved, and kept online, whether you run Shift4, Clover, or another system.
Printers and cash drawers
Receipt printers, kitchen printers, and the cash drawers that open from them, connected and working together.
Payments on their own network
Card terminals kept apart from guest Wi-Fi, staff phones, and the music system, the way payment security rules expect.
Wi-Fi that holds up on a busy night
Coverage across the bar, dining room, sales floor, or gym, with guest Wi-Fi that can't see your systems.
Back office and cameras
The office computer, email, and security cameras are covered too, so nothing falls between vendors.
You call me first
I find out whether it's the reader, the network, the printer, or the POS company's side and fix what's mine. On the Priority plan, I make the vendor calls for you.
Busiest at night and on weekends? The Priority plan covers outages around the clock. Your POS company still handles your software, menu, and merchant account. Shift4 and Clover are trademarks of their owners; Baysic Tech is an independent IT provider and isn't affiliated with them.
How most small offices run IT
Nobody owns it until something breaks. Then somebody's nephew gets a call, or the whole office loses a day. The problems that cause the worst days are usually sitting there quietly for months first.
Updates nobody installed
Windows and software patches that got postponed "until later" are the most common way businesses get breached. Later never comes.
Backups nobody tested
A backup that has never been restored is a hope, not a backup. Most people find out theirs wasn't running on the day they need it.
Guest Wi-Fi next to the card reader
If customers and your payment terminal share a network, anyone in your lobby is one step away from it. This one's common and it's fixable in an afternoon.
Start with an assessment, not a contract.
I come to your office, go through your network, machines, backups, and security, and hand you a written report of what I found and what to fix first. It's yours to keep whether or not you ever hire me. If you sign up for a plan, the cost comes off your onboarding.
What each plan covers
Pricing covers the number of computers agreed at signup. Extra devices are $25 each per month. Hardware and software licenses are always separate and quoted before purchase.

How fast I respond
Response means a real person working your problem, not an automated reply. These are commitments in your service agreement, and if I miss one you get a credit on your bill.
| What's happening | Essential | Standard | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Everything's downNo one can work — server, internet, or network out | 4 business hours | 2 business hours | 1 hour, 24/7 |
| Something big is brokenSeveral people affected, or a key system is impaired | 8 business hours | 4 business hours | 2 hours |
| One person is stuckA single computer, printer, or app isn't working | Next business day | Next business day | 4 business hours |
| When you get a chanceNew user setup, installs, questions, quotes | 3 business days | 2 business days | Next business day |
Clocks run during your plan's coverage hours, except full outages on Priority, which run around the clock. Resolution depends on the problem, so I don't promise a fix time — I promise to stay on it until you're working again.
How it starts
No pressure at any step. The assessment is useful on its own, and plenty of businesses just fix the top items on the report themselves.
-
Assessment
$200I spend time in your office looking at your network, computers, backups, and security.
-
Written findings
IncludedA plain-English report: what's working, what's risky, what to fix first, and whether a plan even makes sense for you.
-
Onboarding
$500, minus the $200Everything gets documented, monitoring goes on, passwords get organized, and the urgent fixes get done.
-
Ongoing
MonthlyUpdates, monitoring, and backups run in the background. You get a report each month and a person when you need one.
Security I set up for every client
This is the same kind of firewall and network separation I run at my own place. None of it requires your staff to learn anything new.
Payment terminals on their own network
Card readers and point of sale get walled off from everything else, which also makes PCI compliance a lot simpler.
Guest Wi-Fi that can't see your stuff
Customers get internet and nothing else — no view of your computers, printers, or files.
Cameras and smart devices isolated
Security cameras and smart devices are some of the least-patched gear on any network. They get their own lane.
Remote access done safely
A proper VPN for working from home, instead of remote desktop left open to the internet.
Two-step sign-in on email
Stolen email passwords cause most small business fraud. A second step at login stops nearly all of it.
Backups stored off site
At least one copy kept somewhere a fire, flood, or ransomware can't reach — and restored on a schedule to prove it works.
Need a website too?
A decent website matters as much as a decent network. One-page sites start at $400, there's no monthly hosting bill, and you own your domain. Optional Website Care keeps it current for $25 a month.
Who this fits
Businesses with roughly 2 to 25 people, where computers matter to the work but nobody is paid to look after them.
Is there a contract?
Yes — a 12-month service agreement with the response times written in. You can cancel for any reason with 60 days notice. The agreement exists so my commitments to you are enforceable, not to trap you.
What happens if we decide to leave?
You get every password, all the documentation on your setup, and up to four hours of help handing things to whoever's next, at no charge. I never hold your data or your passwords over a billing disagreement. That's in the contract.
You're one person. What if you're out sick?
Fair question. Your whole environment gets documented during onboarding and you keep a copy, so nothing about your setup lives only in my head. Any competent tech could pick it up from that documentation.
We already have someone who helps us out.
That's common, and it's fine. I can work alongside them, or take over the parts they'd rather not deal with. The assessment is a good way to see where things actually stand either way.
Does the monthly price include new computers?
No. Hardware and software licenses are always separate. I'll quote them before anything is purchased, and I don't pad the price to make up for a low monthly fee.
We don't need all this. Can you just fix things when they break?
Absolutely. Regular business rates are $110 an hour on site, with no plan required. Plans make sense once IT problems are costing you more than the monthly fee in lost time.
