Baysic Tech Solutions is a computer repair, networking, and web design business in Waco, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. Questions? Email info@baysictech.com or call or text (254) 236-2710.

Information we collect

• Contact details you give us. Your name, phone number, email address, service address, and the details of your request, when you fill out a quote form, call, text, email, or message us on social media. Quote and contact forms on our website are delivered to our email by Web3Forms, a form-handling service.
• Job and billing records. What work was done, quotes, invoices, and payment status. If you pay by card, the payment is handled by our payment processor and we do not store full card numbers.
• Information on devices we service. To repair, set up, or migrate a device we may need to access it. We only access what the job requires, we do not copy or keep your personal files unless you ask us to (for example, a data transfer or backup), and we delete any temporary copies when the job is done.
• Website data. Our site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when you visit.

How we use it

• To respond to you, give quotes, schedule and perform service, and send invoices.
• To provide ongoing support for clients on a monthly plan.
• To keep records required for taxes and accounting.
• To improve our services and our website.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Social media

We publish posts to our own Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Nextdoor pages using a self-hosted scheduling tool that we run on our own equipment. That tool connects only to Baysic Tech's business accounts, to publish our posts and read basic statistics about them such as views and likes. It does not collect information about people who view or interact with our posts beyond what each platform shows the page owner. Your use of those platforms is covered by their own privacy policies.

We never post photos of a customer's equipment, screen, home, or data without that customer's written permission.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the business — for example payment processing, accounting, email, form delivery, and web hosting — and only as needed for that purpose. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep job and billing records as long as needed for business and tax purposes, usually up to seven years. Data from devices we service is not kept after the job is complete unless you ask us to keep a backup.

E-waste and data destruction

Drives from equipment you give us for recycling are securely wiped or physically destroyed — your choice — before anything is reused or recycled.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing info@baysictech.com. We'll respond within 30 days. Records we're required to keep for taxes may be retained.

Data deletion for Facebook and Instagram

If you've interacted with Baysic Tech through Facebook or Instagram and want any related information we hold deleted, email info@baysictech.com with the subject "Data deletion request." We'll confirm once it's done.

Children

Our services are for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
